在必然产生海量数据的未来大人物时代（大数据、人工智能、物联网），传统微电子解决方案已经遇到发展瓶颈，具有更低功耗、更高大带宽、和超高速更高传输速率和高抗干扰性优势的光子集成技术已经成为信息技术发展的必然趋势和业界的普遍认识，像数次颠覆性技术革命出现的事物：蒸汽机、电力和信息一样，光子集成必将引领导引人类迈向一个全新的智能计算时期。

从技术和市场成熟度来说的话，光子集成都处于爆发前期。在此背景下，由上海微技术国际合作中心(SIMTAC)主办，LioniX International协办的2017国际集成光子会议将于5月8日在上海盛大召开。在此次会议中，来自光子集成整个价值链的全球领导者将会碰面并分享他们对该行业机遇和挑战的看法。

会议主题为光子混合集成的机遇和挑战。

In the future era of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things， which will produce massive data, thetraditional solutions based on microelectronic technique haveencountered bottlenecks in development. The photonicintegration technology with lower power consumption, largerbandwidth and higher transmission speed is well-known in theindustry and has become the inevitable development trend ofinformation technology. Such as several subversivetechnological revolution things: steam engine, electricity andinformation, photonic integration will lead the human into anew era of intelligent computing.

According to the technical and market maturity, photonic integration is in the early stages of the outbreak. The meetingis organized by the Shanghai InternationalMicro-Tech Affiliation Center (SIMTAC) in collaboration withLioniX International.
